Seven Reasons The Kids Will Love Kent Life Farm
When it comes to finding family friendly days out in Kent it can be tough to find something which the whole family can enjoy whilst not breaking the bank. Well, we have the solution! Last weekend we took a trip over to Maidstone to visit Kent Life. Having never been before I was excited to find somewhere new to take our three year old that didn’t cost the earth. Here are my top seven reasons the kids will love Kent Life:
The Train! The farm has a land train which takes you on a quick five minute tour of the land. Unlike many I’ve been on this one also had seat belts which is an added bonus to keep your little ones safe on a bumpy ride.
Fantastic play area. Comprising of a tractor race track, bouncy castle, various climbing frames, sand pit and when we visited staff were also outside with outdoor play equipment such as hoops, tug of war and bean bags.
Soft Play. A large indoor softly and cafe offers refuge in the colder months
Cuddle Corner. Providing the opportunity for the whole family to get up close and personal to some of Kent Life’s smaller farmyard friends. Their daily entertainment schedule offers the chance to meet some of their friendly animals with feeding and grooming sessions.
Feed the farm animals. Goats, pigs, horses, sheep, chickens and rabbits were just some of the animals we saw on our visit. Bags of feed can be purchased from the shop for £1 and the animals are incredibly friendly.
Catch a show in the Big Top. An indoor Big Top arena plays host to a variety of shows from animals to clowns throughout the year.
Vintage Village. Add a touch of history and culture to your visit and take a peak into the different buildings and lifestyles of Kent’s rural past as our Vintage Village is brought to life.
A fun day out for all the Family at an incredible price. Adult admission is £9.95 on the door or £8.95 in advance and children are £8.25 or £7.40 in advance. Their annual membership is also incredibly reasonable, for more info click here
