Alice in Wonderland: Hever Castle

Follow Alice and the White Rabbit as they set off on a colourful adventure like no other and meet a host of outlandish characters including Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the troublesome twins, the Cheshire cat, the notorious Queen of Hearts, and of course, the Mad-Hatter!

In The Night Garden Live: The Marlowe Theatre

Join Igglepiggle, Makka Pakka, Upsy Daisy, and friends at In The Night Garden Live on their first ever UK theatre tour in 2019!
You’ll see all your favourite characters brought to life with magical puppets, full-size costumes, and enchanting music. The show lasts just under an hour and it’s a new production for the very first In The Night Garden Live UK theatre tour. In The Night Garden Live is one of the UK’s favourite family events.
Rock The Mote 2019

New and exciting tribute festival comes to Maidstone's Mote Park. A fun filled day with eight hours of music, performances from some of the best tribute bands in the UK, including The Killers v Muse, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Oasis v Blur, Pink Floyd, and Fleetwood Mac! Grab your tickets here
Dragon Boat Festival: Bewl Water
When: 7th September 2019
Where: Bewl Water, Bewlbridge Lane, Lamberhurst, TN3 8JH
Crews of 16 paddlers, plus a drummer, race in Chinese-style Dragon Boats over a 250-metre course. The racing is run by Bewl Water and Dragon Boat Events Ltd provide the boats, safety equipment, helms, buoyancy aids and rescue boats. Crews do not need to be super fit or skilled to be successful - all that's required is teamwork and a good sense of fun!
There’s more to the Festival than the dragon boat races. The Bewl Water site that looks onto the water is full of marquees and tents with many running stalls selling cakes and other goodies, running competitions, and generally full to bursting with people in interesting and unusual fancy dress!
Whitstable Summer Fair: The Umbrella Centre

WHITSTABLE OYSTER FESTIVAL 2019

The Maize Maze at Penshurst Place
When: 27th July - Sept 1st

Penshurst Places Summer Maize Maze is a hot air balloon-themed puzzle! Wind your way through the hidden corners and concealed passages and collect clues from different checkpoints hidden in the maze. Once you have collected all the clues, you'll be able to crack the puzzle and be in with the chance of winning a Penshurst Place family season ticket!
Taking around 40 minutes to complete, the eco-friendly maze is great fun for children and adults. Those with a competitive side can take advantage of a new tactical maze that requires any explorers that take it on to collect the clues in the right order to crack the code! There's also a mini-maze for younger visitors.
Meet the Amazing Spider-Man!

Bedgebury Cone Treasure Hunt
When: Sunday 7 July - Sunday 1 September
Where: Bedgebury, Bedgebury Road, TN17 2SJ Goudhurst, Kent
Bedgebury has a huge variety of conifers and they produce plentiful cones. This makes it a fantastic place for a cone treasure hunt. Grab your map and set off in search of a larch, a pine and a tree named Douglas. Booking not needed just drop in to the Visitor Centre any day from 9.30am and pick up an activity pack.
