The History Of Pride Tunbridge Wells

Pride started back in 2017. Jazz Alexander, our chairmen, came up with the idea while chatting to a fellow worker at The George. I came onto the scene after meeting Jazz at a friend's party and discussing our favourite dogs!  When we did the first pride, It all somehow got pulled together within 2 months with no money and absolutely no knowledge of how to pull off anything like this. With help from The Forum, We actually pulled off a great event and its continued since then. It's really important especially in Tunbridge Wells where we have had so many members of the community say there have never felt comfortable here and are finally glad there is something for them. When word was first out about Pride, there was a resistance from people and its still here today. Tunbridge Wells need Pride!

The details for this year is the parade will start at 11:30, we will release the gathering spot for this on social media, Pride will be held at The Forum again as well as the late night where tickets are £15 with an optional £5 donation to Pride. These are on
