Tight Muscles? Pure Power Studios have the answer
Tight muscles? Aches and pains? Wonder why? It could be due to lack of relaxing and stretching!
Many people struggle with pain because they spend their working days seated, this encourages poor posture and decreases circulation thus creating tension and causing pain. More active people can also suffer with muscular pain due to a physical job and working out. We all know we should release tension to help our bodies relax, work better and stay healthy. Here are a couple of ways to help…
Are you at a desk a lot?
Take regular walk breaks. It’s a great start and gets the body moving releasing muscles.
Back Twist - Sit in your chair and place your right arm behind your right hip. Twist to the right side and hold for 10 seconds, then repeat on the other side. Do three on each side.
Foot Taps - Run your feet on the floor whilst sat at your desk go for 30 seconds at a time – or maybe longer!
Shoulder Raises - Raise your shoulders towards your ears, hold for 5 seconds and then relax. Try and also do some regular physical activity, it doesn’t have to be for long!
Time is precious and with busy lifestyles it’s hard to fit everything in and that’s why Power Plate is great. It’s time efficient, you can achieve a full body workout in 25 minutes. We have a variety of sessions and exercising using a Power Plate. The plate gives less chance of strain due to the patented multi–directional vibration. Massage on a Power Plate stimulates lymphatic flush, eases pain, promotes faster recovery of damaged muscles and tendons, improves joint function, and helps you return stronger–all in only a few minutes a day (we have a few minutes at the end of every workout session).
Our Pure Recovery session focusses solely on stretch and massage utilising the higher frequency vibration for 25 minutes. Holly’s favourite is a lower back massage, pictured here. Power Plate effects are amazing. You’ll walk out as light as air and feeling completely relaxed. Get in touch for a free trial with us!
