Spotlight On Clare Lush-Mansell- My Tunbridge Wells

If you live in Tunbridge Wells and have kids you’ll have heard of Clare Lush-Mansell, founder of My Tunbridge Wells, a family events, activities and lifestyle blog.  We love working with Clare and are thrilled to bring you this interview.

When did you start My Tunbridge Wells and what inspired you to do it?

I started the blog almost three years ago as I wanted to share all of the super local places to visit and things to do from a personal perspective.

Are you working on the blog full-time now?

Yes - I left my job in PR to work on My Tunbridge Wells and have collaborated with some amazing brands since then. Every day is different and I am so grateful for the friends I have met through it, the experiences we have had and for the readers who are so

supportive!

What’s your favourite local independent shop?

It has to be Love Inc. (Support Local Pop Up stall holder) for stylish and quirky home decor & accessories and Stampede for kitting out my children with such great quality and well-fitting footwear! Local online businesses which I really admire too include, Sketch Stitch Love, Ollie and Roo and Jem + Bea.

Where are your top three places to visit for a family day out?

We often find ourselves returning to Penshurst Place & Gardens, Hever Castle and Wilderness Wood and recently had a fantastic day out at Diggerland!

Where’s the best place to meet friends with the kids in tow?

Minor Mania soft play, Jump In Trampoline Centre and Langton Pavilion Cafe are our saviours during rainy days! In warmer months we enjoy visiting Dunorlan Park, Bewl Water, and Grosvenor & Hilbert Park.
